The wedding was organised in the air conditioned hangers of around 2 lakhs sq ft area with over 3000 tons of AC being utilised. It was a wedding of epic proportion with a theme based around  ‘Ashtalakshmi’ (8 forms of Godess Lakshmi). The venue was decorated by creating artistic yali pillars(a motif in Indian art which is widely used in South Indian sculptures), massive chandeliers created from fibre based idols of goddess Lakshmi that were lit up by the numerous decorative diyas, creative use of exotic colourful flowers and glittering lights that gave a pious look to the ambience with a touch of elegance.

The chefs were called from Lucknow, Kanpur and Pakistan to surprise the guests with the finest delicacies and specialties of their cities and establish a fine dining experience for them. There were series of performances by renowned singers like Sonu Nigam, Siva Mani, Shiamak Davar and a mesmerizing performance by a duo from Montreal, the family left no stone unturned by creating an award ceremony with nomination clips and awards for the family members at the family sangeet.., a Bharatanatyam by dancer Shobana and stunning traditional south Indian dance acts that enthralled the guests during the wedding and kept them entertained throughout the wedding. Moreover, Indian idol sensation Sreeram sang through the reception to keep the audience entertained.

Krishnaiah and wife Sujata, along with Mandava Prabhakar Rao and wife Asha Priya played gracious hosts while the newlyweds posed for snaps with guests.

Commenting Aditya Motwane – COO – WMS & Special Projects, Percept Entertainment said,” The entire wedding celebrations were the talk of town in Hyderabad. One of the grandest weddings to take place in South India, there were over 12000 people attending the functions over 3 days. The décor themes that were presented for the sangeet and wedding were both opposites and that was a real challenge for us to do a turnover of looks over 2 days only and it turned out fantastic and immediately liked by the families. ”

Elaborated Dhaval Chandrana – Head – Special Projects, Percept Entertainment,” The venue by itself had many challenges which had to be overcome as it is spread over 24 acres of barren land with no power or water source. Everything had to be created as teams were working there for a period of 1 month. The theme of the wedding reception was South Indian yet never used as most people here use the ‘Tirupati theme’. A lot of study went into creating these various aspects of goddess forms and getting them right to go with the look and feel. The entire ambience had to be right and yet the right amount of cooling and hygiene had to be maintained for 10,000 people visiting within a span of 4 hours of reception time. The family themselves were very supportive and gave us a free hand for our creative inputs to flow and take shape. In a nut shell it was a very large project and hopefully open many avenues in the South Indian markets”

Percept Entertainment outsourced 600 labors both skilled and unskilled from different field on site to execute the wedding. The entire crew of around 100 people along with 17 seniors and mid-level employees from Percept Entertainment worked round the clock since 2 months to give the wedding celebration the grandeur it deserves.
